Free online guitar tuner

Play a string and Lark shows the note it hears and how far sharp or flat you are, in standard tuning or tuned down to Eb, D, drop D or drop C#. It runs in your browser with the microphone you already have, so there is nothing to download and no account to make.

How accurate is it?
Lark uses the McLeod Pitch Method, accurate to within about 1 cent on a clean, sustained note. The human ear notices a difference of around 5 cents.
What do I need?
A modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge) and a microphone. A laptop mic is enough. Hold the guitar close and tune in a quiet room.
Is my playing recorded?
No. All the audio processing happens in your browser. Nothing you play is recorded, uploaded or stored.
